I was walking through the iconic Brisbane arcade and noticed Bronwyn, the fashion designer, holding court in her salon. It was intense conversation about the merits of darts. Tropical belles know what they want and when they can’t get it in the branded shops they go to her. A one-off creation. She imports fabric and does her own unique twist.
“Some of those women at the races have no idea how to dress.”
The ladies are matched to the flowers, and individual photographs are also paired. They are paired through a variety of themes such as colour, shapes, composition, energy exuded and dress style. Study them to find the themes. Put together they tell a story about each tropical belle.
