I have been shortlisted 13 times for awards since 2023 for photography. I run photography workshops, and provide mentorship to individuals.
I teach composition, texture and the light, camera technique, documentary, experimental, photo essays as a large project (Rolling Stones Magazine, Tracey Moffat) and culmination into a book, experience in DSLR, smart phone, mirrorless, Fuji and more.
I am a trained teacher with 12 years experience and a CELTA certificate from Cambridge University. My learning style brings results fast as I use the very best training techniques. I come highly recommended.
Below are a selection of photos from participants from a one day workshop. We follow up with seven days of homework to instil lessons.

Testimonials
Rebecca Cheney ‘She is friendly, patient, knowledgeable, and awesome at what she does. I would highly recommend Monique for her professionalism and knowledge of photography.
We loved the group chat where we could share our daily challenge photographs and get feedback from Monique. I now know all the functions of my iphone.
Monique helped me to think outside the box, experiment with lines and pattens, and to really take time to capture the shot. I also loved the one-on-one walk around when taking photos. Monique took what we could see to higher levels with her tip and tricks. ‘
Jane Tomlinson ‘Monique’s course knowledge is of a high standard and how she takes a photo is outstanding. She was happy to share her knowledge with you, and is easy to understand. It was interesting to walk around the school and community and see the same things but see them differently. The sessions were of great benefit and I learnt so much in the time we had.
It was a very relaxed and encouraging and enlightening course.’
