As soon as I hold a camera I become creative.
My portrait of Russell Shakespeare was awarded as finalist at Queensland State Library, 2024. It can be viewed here -> Brisbane Portrait Prize. A portrait of Peter Bodor KC, Crime Commissioner of NSW, was awarded finalist for Capture Awards, 2024. Peace Lily was recently awarded as a finalist for Capture Awards, 2025.
Bird Watching at Gum Swamp was selected as a semi-finalist at Head On Festival, Bondi Beach, 2024 and as a finalist for Capture Awards, 2025.
‘Blues and Roots Festival, Byron Bay’ was shortlisted for Top Emerging Photographers, 2024. A self portrait titled, ‘Waiting to Breathe’ was shortlisted twice as Highly Commended for Photographer of the Year, 2023. It was also shortlisted for Top Emerging Photographers 2024 (unavailable for viewing).
Tropical Belles is a photo essay done in conjunction with The Australian Centre for Photography, and the portraits were shortlisted twice – ‘Sue’ and ‘Rosa’ for Australian Photographer of the Year, 2022. ‘Rosa – Moorookan Queen’ was shortlisted in the Australasian Top Emerging Photographers Award, portrait category, 2023.
