As soon as I hold a camera I become creative. My mind shifts into that of an artist and I see the world differently. I become completely absorbed.

‘Blues and Roots Festival, Byron Bay’ was shortlisted for Top Emerging Photographers 2024, presented by Fujifilm in the single shot category. A self portrait titled, ‘Waiting to Breathe’ was shortlisted twice as Highly Commended in the creative category and single shot category for Photographer of the Year, 2023 (Australian Photography Magazine). It was also shortlisted for Top Emerging Photographers 2024, presented by Fujifilm in the single shot category. It can be viewed below.
My large scale photo essay series was a pandemic joy project, and done in conjunction with The Australian Centre for Photography, and it was shortlisted twice – ‘Sue’ and ‘Rosa’ – in the people category for Australian Photographer of the Year (Australian Photography Magazine), 2022. ‘Rosa – Moorookan Queen’ was also shortlisted in the Australasian Top Emerging Photographers Award, presented by Fujifilm, portrait category, 2023.
