It’s good to be reminded of your special powers. We all have special talents that we often overlook in ourselves. Funnily enough, I’m sure your friends could tell you easily what they are. It’s time to remember how awesome you are and what you are a genius at doing. This is a great mental boost. It also helps you access your potential and puts you into a growth mindset.
Perhaps you always have wise insights into a situation that sums it up perfectly and helps others understand what is happening. Or you have the ability to bring out the best out of people or know how to cook up a storm.
Most importantly, what resources and powers do you call on when things get tough? How do you get through and out?
It’s time like these that it is especially important to call on your super powers.
Well, some of you are excellent at going off the radar – ignoring your friends and acquaintances, not answering the phone and working like a demon until the job is done.
When in a tight financial situation some can save money like a ninja. You ruthlessly prune away all non-essentials, and do monk-like aesthetic with ease. And you know not to get so tight as to annoy my friends, but you go hard core and make it work.
Others know how to find creative solutions to a problem, something no-one else would have ever thought of. Some know how to switch off from the stress, bring people together for a rollicking good time, and then get back to work.
When things get tough ~I dig deep and go. And even when I can’t see the light at the end of the tunnel, I keep going. I make that light appear. I bring it into existence. Then when I get that first glimpse – I put my head down and go stronger.
Also, I know the effort I put in will always be rewarded. It may work out spectacularly, or not as I exactly planned. It doesn’t matter. I know I will come out of it with fruits in my hands. It will lead to something awesome. I trust that. So, I’m not to worried about the outcome. And I know when to take time out. It makes me more productive, creative and efficient when I’m delving deep on a big content creation project.
I hope you are feeling better by remembering all the great things about yourself. If you haven’t done the exercise already do it now. For a few minutes think about all the things you are really good at. You got this.
